Medical Camp

Slums or Seva basti’s are usually neglected settlements of economically poor citizens. There is a total lack of basic hygiene and awareness, leading to a lot of diseases and suffering.
Medium and Mega medical camps are regularly conducted at different slum areas /Villages with the help of doctors and medical staff. The doctors recommend diagnostic tests, which are conducted in the camp for BP, Diabetes, Cholestrol, Catinine, HBsAg(Cardic Test).
And based on the test results, Doctors prescribe medicines which are distributed free of cost in the same camp.
On an average, we conduct one camp per month at various slums of the city.
Additionally, every month 4 camps are conducted in villages around Hyderabad, we specifically select basti`s which are far from PHC.

Educational Awareness scheme

While people from urban areas realize the role of education and aim to create a strong foundation for their young ones, rural India paints a different picture. It is not unusual to see countless villages where education is disregarded. People from these areas are oblivious to the concept of getting an education and prefer to overlook the potential of schooling their little ones. They are unaware of the opportunities after education. Hence, there is a crucial need to help them realize and create awareness about education.

04

Women Empowerment (Tailoring)

The target group Adolescent Girls and Widows are drawn from the lower strait of the society where influenced people are dominating and ruling them since the ages together. Poverty is the main drawback found in almost all the families, where the unemployment and seasonal income do not satisfying their livelihood requirements. Sometimes they are migrating to some other places in searching of work for their daily bread. Their deriving income do not used for the production purpose but the consumption requirements fulfilled with these meager income by the large size families. Usually population rate in rural and tribal areas is growing very fast.
The target group conditions in respect of social, economic, health, hygiene, sanitation and education etc., are much lower and exhibiting the scene of primitive stage, their continuous physical work to reach the stage of development not producing desired result, because of lacking awareness. Criteria for the empowerment of these ignored people not planned by any Department due to heavy work load and political influence interference of local poor people In view of the above facts Abhina Charitable Trust proposed to conduct Tailoring Training program for Adolescent Girls and Widows who are in difficult circumstances in Suryapet District, Telangana

India has represented and won medals and accolades in several global sports events like the Commonwealth Games, Olympics, and the World Cup. And, it’s no surprise that our nation has an abundance of sports talent in fields like cricket, boxing, running, hockey, weight-lifting, volleyball, and badminton.
Infrastructure plays a significant role in the domain of sports. So great is its importance that it could directly affect the performance and progress of the athletes.
What sums up a good infrastructure though? To begin with, the right equipment plays a crucial role. Kits and facilities that match up to global standards are a must particularly when aiming for qualification at international sporting events. In addition, a secure, hygienic, and spacious environment is integral for the continual development and improvement in budding athletes.

Computer and Communication Skills

We are empowering the youth in rural areas by providing them with IT knowledge since 2008. Though this subject is a part of our education system, the underprivileged sections of our society have little or no access to computers because of a lack of resources in government schools. Our program ensures the availability of resources and helps rural students to strengthen their operational skills and improve their employability. It also opens the window to new career opportunities and increases their chances of gaining higher education.

  • Through this program, we aim to impart basic computer operation skills and digital literacy to rural children & youth.
  • We follow a well-structured curriculum and twice-a-year assessment system for teachers & students.
  • To ensure smooth functioning, we regularly upgrade computer labs with necessary infrastructure like desktop sets, table-chairs, UPS & internet connectivity.
  • We conduct Cosmo Computer Awards every year, awarding laptops to the best performers. It serves as a motivation for other students who feel encouraged to perform even better in the year ahead.
  • We arrange exposure visits to provide a better understanding of the use of technology in day-to-day life.
  • Apart from educating the youth, we also train parents through our Basic Computer course during the summer holidays.
  • Additionally, we conduct training sessions on the use of digital transactions, Photoshop, eCommerce, net banking, internet usage, and networking.
  • We train the local youth, which helps in engaging them as computer teachers.
